Applying Fade Ins
To add a fade-in effect to any audio or video cue:
1. Select Your Cue: Navigate to the cue you wish to enhance with a fade-in. 2. Access Transition Menu: Go to the “Transition” section and select “Fade In” from the menu. 3. Configure Fade-In Settings: The default setting for a fade-in is three seconds, but you can adjust this duration to fit your needs. Here, you also have the option to add a delay before the fade begins. 4. Place Your Transition: Save your settings, then go back to your group stack. Press and hold the transition, then drag it to the desired position within your group, ensuring it is placed above the media you want to fade in. 5. Apply Fade To Multiple Cues: By selecting the fade-in transition again, you’ll see an “Apply Fade To” option. Here, you can select multiple cues to which the fade-in will apply, allowing a single fade-in transition to affect multiple cues at once.
Applying Fade Outs
1. Select Your Cue: First, navigate to the cue you want to conclude with a fade-out effect. 2. Access Transition Menu: In the “Transition” section, find and select “Fade Out” from the available options. 3. Configure Fade-Out Settings: By default, the fade-out duration is set to three seconds. You can adjust this timing to better suit your show’s needs. Additionally, you have the option to set a delay before the fade-out commences. 4. Place Your Transition: After configuring, save your settings and return to your group stack. Press and hold the transition, then drag it to an appropriate position within your group. It’s important to position it in relation to the media you intend to fade out. 5. Apply Fade To Multiple Cues: When selecting the fade-out transition again, an “Apply Fade To” option will appear. This feature allows you to assign the fade-out effect to multiple cues simultaneously, making it possible to smoothly transition out of several elements at once.
