Adding Video to Your Show in iQ Pro
Enhancing your show with video tracks in iQ Pro is straightforward. Follow these steps to insert a video into your desired group.
Step 1: Selecting Your Group
• Navigate to the Group: Choose the group where you want to add the video track. • Add Track: Click on “Track.” A pop-up screen will display various cue types. • Choose Video: From the options, select “Video” and then click the “Add New Cue” button at the bottom.
Step 2: Configuring Your Video Track
• Name Your Video Track: First, set a name for your video track for easy identification. • Select Your Video File: Choose your video file from two sources: • From Files: Click “Select Video File” to import the video from your device’s file system. • From Library: If the video has been previously imported, you can find it in iQ Pro’s library.
You also have the option to play a video directly from a URL, a feature that can be especially useful for specific applications like magic shows.
Step 3: Editing Your Video Layer
• Layer Editor: Here, you can adjust the video’s scale, set the corner radius to round the edges, and position the layer on the screen. This functionality is beneficial for managing visuals on large LED walls or creating picture-in-picture effects.
Step 4: Additional Video Settings
• Delay Settings: Enable a delay for when the cue starts to when it becomes visible. • Mute Audio: Option to mute the original video’s audio. • Loop Video: Choose if the video should loop. • Layer Settings: Understand and adjust the layer settings as needed for your show. • Audio Level Override: Adjust the audio level if using the video’s original audio.
Step 5: Cue Sequencing
• Track Start and End Options: Decide what happens when the track starts and ends—options include doing nothing or automatically starting the next cue.
By following these steps, you can seamlessly integrate video into your iQ Pro show.
