Adding an Audio Cue Within Your Group

To incorporate an audio cue into your group in iQ Pro, begin by selecting “Track” and then the “Audio” option.

Setting Up Your Audio Cue

• Track Name: Initially, you’ll be prompted to name your track, helping you identify and organize your cues effectively. • Selecting Your Audio File: You have the flexibility to choose an audio file from two sources: • Files App on iOS: Select a file stored directly on your iOS device. • iQ Pro Library: Choose from files that have been previously used in other shows and are now available locally in the iQ Pro library. For first-time imports, you’ll need to select the track from your files. • Internet Connectivity Option: Alternatively, if you have internet access, you can enter an audio URL to play the track directly from the web. While useful in certain situations, this method is generally not recommended.

Advanced Audio Cue Settings

• Delay: You can enable a delay for the cue’s start, with adjustable hours, minutes, and seconds. • Loop and Layer Selection: Options to loop your track and select its layer are available. Familiarizing yourself with the layers section is advised for optimal setup. • Audio Level Override: The default audio level is set at 100%, but you can adjust this according to your needs. • Cue Sequencing: Decide when the track should trigger the next cue to start or do nothing at the track’s start or end. This feature is crucial for synchronizing audio with video cues, ensuring they play simultaneously.

By understanding and utilizing these settings, you can effectively manage audio cues within iQ Pro, enhancing your show.
