Getting Started
Organising your content
Before diving into the creation of your show using IQ Pro, it’s essential to start with a solid plan. A key part of this planning process involves preparing your content correctly. This means converting your files to compatible formats and organising them in an easily accessible manner.
Video Formats
IQ Pro is compatible with MP4 and MOV video formats. MOV files can be uncompressed videos and may include ProRes LT and ProRes 4444 Alpha files. The latter format is particularly useful for incorporating transparencies and lower thirds into your videos.
Audio Formats
For audio, IQ Pro supports MP3, M4V, and WAV formats. These options include both compressed and uncompressed audio files, ensuring your music and sound effects maintain their quality.
Storing Your Content
For optimal performance and reliability, it is advised to store all your content locally on your iOS device. The most efficient way to organise your files is by using the Files app.
Search on your iPhone for the Files app, it's by Apple
Create a dedicated folder within the Files app, stored locally on your device, to ensure your show is not dependent on an internet connection. We recommend setting up three subfolders within this main folder, labeled as “Video,” “Audio,” “Images,” etc., according to the needs of your show.
Content Management
When you start building your show in IQ Pro, the app will automatically import all relevant files into the show file. This integration simplifies the process of saving, importing, and exporting your show, making it more convenient to manage and update your content as needed.
By following this guide you should be organising your content so that when it comes to importing and using the files within iQ Pro it'll be seamless
